I am appalled by the way in which people comment on other peoples work recently. Saying derogative things about stock, photo manipulations, tradtional art and everything else out there in the world of DA. But the straw that broke the camels back was when this trend hit dear ChaoticGoddess.

Dont get me wrong, i accept constructive criticism... its an everyday aspect of life and at the end of the day is useful and can make yourself progress. But saying something with no aim or purpose except to upset the recipient is down right low.

Thank you for your support and for being such a sweetie! It means a lot to me. Yeah, I totally agree with you on everything there. I have received constructive critiques many times and immediately ran off to PS or PSP to see what I could do... that is how you learn and how I have progressed as an artist. :nod:

It is just simply pitiful and depressing to see that some people can't use the critique box to enter the type of text that it is there for, maybe they think that this is funny or that they have the right to disreguard others feelings because they have a DA username but thank god that there are those of us who realize what it is there for and why we have have this wonderful place to display our works of art in their many forms. I especially think that when someone is trying to give back to the community that if a person cant say anything nice or constructive they should keep their comments to themselves.... even more so if they do not give back themselves...

He made another comment saying that the stock I posted [link] was useless because of the way it was shot... that is fine... I can deal with that, but it is his personal preference not the entire communities, a lot of horror/macabre artist do like this kind of shot so... I do not plan on never posting this type again.

Again, I really appreciate your support so much. You are a very sweet friend and great person all around! Congrats on Feb.'s Featured Artist again!!!!

Well said! The comment you're referring to is DISGUSTING! I assumed that the person who wrote it was a child or someone with some sort of mental issues which make them unable to interact with other people, but I nearly dropped when I saw that he's 22 years old! So so pathetic.
